Many questions, few answers on how to regulate mobile payments

(July 16, 2012) -- As more people begin to use mobile devices for their daily financial transactions, the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit recently explored whether current regulations are sufficient to protect consumers who turn to such payment methods and whether one agency should have primary responsibility over the mobile payments market. However, by the end of the hearing, there were no clear answers—only more questions....
