FTC’s Gray joins innovative search engine DuckDuckGo

Megan Gray, an experienced privacy lawyer at the Federal Trade Commission and other organizations, has joined search engine DuckDuckGo as general counsel and policy advocate.

DuckDuckGo is best known for its policies of not profiling its users and showing all of them the same search results. It markets itself in part as the anti-Google. A subject of its recent privacy newsletter is “How to Live Without Google.”

This would seem to be a perfect environment for Gray, an attorney...
