Three ocean shipping executives indicted for rigging bids, fixing prices

(October 16, 2015) -- Three former ocean freight executives were indicted earlier this month for their alleged roles in a long-running price-fixing scheme, the Justice Department announced on Oct. 6. The executives — Yoshiyuki Aoki, Masahiro Kato and Shunichi Kusunose — are accused of allocating customers and routes and fixing prices and rigging bids for the sale of international ocean shipments of roll-on, roll-off cargo, including cars, trucks and agricultural equipment....
