Washington, D.C. (November 2, 2021) -- The federal antitrust agencies filed a highly unusual number of amicus briefs — 80 of them — in the five years since 2016. These were led by the 69 briefs filed by the Trump-era antitrust division, leading some to believe that the flow will lessen under a new administration.
