Lawmakers moving toward approving FTC budget

What’s $2 million among congressional appropriators?

That’s the differential in funding for the Federal Trade Commission in the Senate and House spending bills working their way through the legislative process.

The Senate bill, which was approved by the Appropriations Committee on June 21 and awaits action by the full chamber, allocates $309.7 million for the agency budget in the fiscal year starting Oct. 1.
